By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you place an order, the order confirmation and any separately agreed quote or event terms also apply. If a specific written order term conflicts with these general terms, the specific order term takes priority for that order.
The website
The site introduces Chookies and links you to channels such as WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, and email. It is not an online checkout. Product descriptions, photographs, event details, and availability are general information and may change.
We try to keep the site accurate, but cookies are handmade and may vary slightly in appearance. A website message or order request does not reserve stock or create an accepted order.
Orders and confirmation
An order is accepted only when we confirm it with you. Please check that the confirmation correctly states:
- The products and quantities.
- The total price and any deposit, delivery, or other charge.
- The payment method and deadline, if any.
- The collection or delivery place and estimated time.
- Any special request that we have agreed to provide.
Prices and payment
The price that applies is the price stated in your order confirmation or written quote, normally in Malaysian ringgit unless we say otherwise. Any deposit, balance, payment deadline, and accepted payment method will be stated in that confirmation or quote.
If payment is not made as agreed, we may be unable to prepare or hold the order. We will not add a charge or substitute an item without telling you and obtaining any agreement required.
Allergies and dietary needs
Our products may contain or come into contact with allergens. Website names, photos, and short descriptions are not a complete ingredient or allergen statement. Tell us about an allergy or dietary need before ordering and ask us for current information. Do not assume a product is suitable unless we have confirmed it with you.
Changes, cancellations, and refunds
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order. Because our cookies are perishable and may be prepared for a particular date, what we can change or refund depends on the timing, work already done, ingredients or services already committed, and the terms confirmed for that order.
If an item is faulty, unsafe, materially different from what we confirmed, or not supplied, contact us promptly so we can put it right. Nothing in these terms removes any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under Malaysian consumer law.
Collection and delivery
You are responsible for giving accurate contact, collection, and delivery information and for being available at the agreed time. Tell us quickly if anything changes. Times are estimates unless we expressly agree otherwise, and traffic, weather, venue access, courier issues, or other events outside reasonable control may cause delay.
Please check the order when you receive it and tell us promptly if anything is missing or damaged.
Bulk, event, and custom orders
A written quote or order confirmation may include extra terms for quantities, artwork, packaging, deposits, lead times, venue access, setup, delivery, cancellations, or changes. Those agreed terms form part of the order.
Using the site fairly
You must not misuse the site or interfere with its operation. In particular, you must not:
- Attempt unauthorised access, introduce harmful code, or disrupt the site.
- Use the site for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or misleading activity.

The Chookies name, logos, site design, photographs, illustrations, and written content belong to us or are used with permission. You may view and share links to the site for personal, non-commercial use, but no other right is granted without written permission.
Third-party services have their own terms and availability. We are not responsible for content or services controlled by those third parties, although your mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
Responsibility
We are responsible for loss that is a reasonably foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care. To the extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss, business loss from personal use, or events outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Malaysia law and disputes
